President's Prattle

• Cockfield fun, barbeque, relaxing afternoon
• Aldham had sun and176 cars
• Easton had a record entry of 450, including SVEC's John Easy 3.5(?) Jaguar
• Orwell boat trip was thoroughly enjoyable - marvellous views and a lovely sunset
• Indications that LRP is dwindling

Secretary's Scribble

• Thanks for enquiring after my health - I can drive the Fiesta but not the Armstrong as it's heavy on the steering (why do you think it's call Armstrong? -ed)
• Full marks to EAPC for their Easton Park efforts
• Frinton Music Festival reported as enjoyable, despite the weather
• SVEC's main event of the year, Helmingham on 1st August
• Following up the next week is Flixton
• Next week if Chantry Park
• This month's club night involves cotton and music
• End the month with rare breeds
